A couple of local co-working spaces were named as best places in the U.S. for entrepreneurs of color — recognition that’s only been given to two other co-working spaces in the state.
Catalyst co-working space in downtown Orlando and Hub 925 in the Dr. Phillips area were named as the best co-working places in the U.S. for entrepreneurs of color by Black Enterprise, a business media firm for African Americans. The group gave recognition to 44 other co-working spaces throughout the U.S., as well.
“Our purpose in opening Catalyst was to create a welcoming community for entrepreneurs to be productive and creative, collaborate, make connections, and grow and scale their businesses,” said Dennis Pape, co-founder of Catalyst, in a news release. “The wealth of talent, experience and innovation that comes with diversity cannot be understated.” Read more here.
